Custom sizing is especially useful for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, and open-plan spaces where common rug sizes do not always match your furniture placement.

Start by measuring the floor area where you want the rug to sit. For living rooms, consider your sofa width, coffee table placement, and whether the front legs of your furniture should rest on the rug. For bedrooms, measure how far you want the rug to extend beyond the sides and foot of the bed.

In most cases, yes, within our current size and shipping limits. You can send us the width and length you need, and we will confirm whether your selected rug style can be made in that size. The main size limit is width: for most custom size rugs, the maximum custom width we currently offer is 8.6 ft. This helps keep oversized shipping, handling, and freight costs practical.

For example, if you are considering a 9x12 rug, we usually recommend 8.5x12 as a close alternative. In most living rooms or bedrooms, the visual difference is usually very subtle once the rug is placed under a sofa, coffee table, bed, or main seating area.

Yes. Custom size rugs are made with the same dense woven construction as the selected standard rug style. They are designed to keep the same thick feel, supportive underfoot comfort, and substantial look, without a thin or flimsy rug feel. Many of our dense woven rugs are designed to stay stable without a separate rug pad, which helps keep the setup simpler and more comfortable. However, if your floor is very smooth, or if you want extra grip in a busy home with kids or pets, a rug pad can still be used for added stability.

Custom size quotes are free, and there is no fee to ask about a custom size. To request a custom size rug, message us through the Inbox on our website or contact our support email. Please send the product name or product link, your required custom width and length, and a room photo if available.

We will check whether the rug can be made in your requested size and then provide a final quote. Once the size, price, and order details are confirmed, we will send a secure online payment invoice by email. After payment is completed, your custom rug will enter production.

For most custom size rugs, production usually takes about 5–7 business days after payment and final size confirmation. After the rug ships, standard delivery is estimated to take about 3–4 weeks.

These timelines are estimates and may vary during holidays, peak seasons, severe weather, or other shipping delays. Once your rug ships, we will provide tracking information so you can follow the delivery progress.

Custom size rugs are made specifically for your requested measurements, so standard returns are not available unless there is a quality issue, shipping damage, or a confirmed production sizing error on our end.

To help avoid sizing mistakes, we double-check all dimensions and order details before production begins. If incorrect measurements are provided by the customer and the rug is made according to those confirmed measurements, the order cannot be returned for standard sizing reasons.

Minor color or texture variation may occur between screen images, standard-size rugs, and custom-made pieces. These small textile variations are normal and are not considered defects.
